I learnt very early that the gap between my dreams and reality is nothing but my perseverance and self-confidence to close that distance. My father drilled it into me that failures are good. “You learn what you cannot do so you can focus on what you can. he said. Nothing is the end – till you cease to exist.

And Life, it is a journey – it doesn’t stop when you are 40 or 70 or when you have a house or car, yacht or plane. It is a constant work in progress, a moving goal post. This journey ends only when you stop exploring, stop dreaming and stop believing in yourself.

I am a global gypsy. Born into a south Indian brahmin family.

I spent my childhood in Kabul, Afghanistan. I have lived and worked in many countries Europe, far- east and the middle east. As a daughter of an educationist, my exposure to multiple cultures and countries have shaped my personal beliefs and growth.

My desire to connect with people in their mother tongue and my love for languages prompted me to learn a few. I speak 6 languages fluently.

After working for 2 decades in the corporate jungle of buying, branding and Retail, I quit whilst my sanity still prevailed.

I made the best decision of my life – to give total focus to my NGO, Healing Lives and to give time to everything else I have wanted to do in my Life. Everything I do or have done are self-taught. Nothing is perfect. It is not meant to be.
